Piano tuning & repair is the basic foundation of Singfield Piano's services. Since 1969 they have been servicing pianos on the road and in their shop (as well as, pump organs, player pianos, electric pianos and guitars). They provide services for schools, private homes, professional musicians, theaters, old age homes and hospitals.
In many cases pianos can't be tuned because of their condition, and sometimes repairs must be made on the spot. Being good diagnosticians, Singfield and Anderson understand the language spoken by troubled pianos; the buzzes, clicks and knocks, symptomatic of "wear & tear".
Having years of experience rebuilding pianos in their Waterloo shop, Singfield Piano is able to restore pianos in the home, without the added expense and inconvenience of moving the instruments. Just about everything is repaired on location within the same day; eliminating weeks or even months of customer waiting.
Estimates, provided for a small fee, establish the value of an instrument; usually involving taking the piano apart and filling out an in-depth written report on its condition. Consultations given with each estimate depend on whether the customer wants to purchase, rebuild, or sell a piano.
