CONCEPT
NOËL 2000
New Year preparations are underway and the entire planet is excited by the prospects of the new millennium. Christmas 2000 will engrave images into the minds of the people who are celebrating, and into those of generations to come. Donald Patriquin and a group of associates through Promomuse, a non profit organization, have decided to organize a unique musical and cultural production, which celebrates the kindred spirit of the Eastern Townships and records this momentous occasion for years to come.
THE BEST OF THE EASTERN TOWNSHIPS
In the fall of the year 2000, Donald Patriquin will publish the CD 'Noël 2000' with 10-12 choirs and ensembles of the Eastern Townships. Christmas 2000 is a historic moment to record their best music and capture their unique cultural and linguistic diversity.
